As the keystroke blinks and waits for my emotions to extend I can’t help but think would it truly understand what I’m trying to bring forth. To call something “mine” and yet not really ever owned. To be branded as a possession but yet so much more. In reality I’m more rather owned by her, yes her. For who again could grasp my entity except my girl. Let “The Temptations” perform to my appreciation for the creature that bests me in all endeavours.
The sun truly has its day when it’s radiance doesn’t reach me as much as she does. Her grace humbles all and purifies most but intoxicates me. A poison that offers bittersweet relief. Let me fight it so I can be released at her call. It envelopes me as much as the blanket that covered my fragile skin as I exited from my mothers womb. No one to this day can recall that awesome moment but my girl lets me relive it all the time. Cold is warm, warm is lukewarm. All is balanced. All is right. God indeed did pick the right rib for now she’s the piece that would close and forever secure my heart. We exist as different beings but live as one. What a blessing you are to me My Girl.

What does the modern woman want from a man? Or better yet what can a modern give to a woman in the days that yield independence and striving to attain titles and positions and accolades. Words are tough and I’m yet to understand how deep that statement goes.
Gone are the days, in my mind, where you talk to a woman where romanticism was a necessity and pretty much a common denominator in attracting a woman for the male gender. Whatever stigma you wanna place on the current condition of the battle of the sexes is purely biased because we were created for each other and not to see who’s better than the other. On one of my many trips of introspection I often analyse how I’ve become corrupt and lose myself to the world of faceless chats and insensitive gestures which often lead to some form of companionship between us humans. I long for the day to rediscover what started it all. A gaze across the room which seems timeless but yet in motion to create a journey that is all to old but at the same time refreshing. Adrenaline coursing through your veins merely because of a creature sipping some juice or biting a burger or need a refer to the cliche of her hair being blown by a strong yet gentle wind that both embodies the fierceness of her mane and the beauty of her face. The little things are supposed to matter and for such minute instances can cause the happiness of some couples past and present… But the future seems bleak. There will always be romanticism but at what cost? Subscription to various Internet forums that would set a platform to merely “connect” with a person via web. I say neigh to the countless nights stuck behind a screen merely to daze at a profile picture and “liking” it and push thee on to what started it all… The word “hello”. Words are tough but At the end of the day when all is battered and spiced up to please the ears of a delicate female, do not the words “I do” change a mans life forever?
